Job Description:
Offering a Full Time Position: Monday - Thursday
Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled RDA. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms for the next patient, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring the back office is stocked properly.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, making temporary crowns, implant restorations, and night guard impressions.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
Experience:
- Experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
