We are seeking an experienced and fun-loving chairside Dental Assistant to join our next level team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, possess knowledge in various dental procedures and terminology, and a patient-first mindset. We are looking for individuals who are available on part- or full-time basis.
We are seeking individuals who are able to commit 7:45 am - 5:15 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Our team is also working from 12:45 pm - 5:15 pm on Mondays. Please share your interest if you would like to work all Monday afternoons.
We require individuals to have experience in a dental practice.
**Duties:**
- Practice four-handed dentistry. Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Take electronic dental X-rays, panoramic radiographs, CBCT, intraoral scans, intraoral and extraoral patient photographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- "Trust Transfer" to other team members to ensure patients have a smooth patient experience
- Take initative during non-clinical time for self-development
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
**Candidates should have the following:**
- A can-do, will-do attitude!
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of dental anatomy and medical imaging techniques
**Strong Preference will be given to candidates who have:**
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Familiarity with cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and Invisalign orthodontics
- Experience in dental restorations, temporary crowns, occlusal guard fabrication/delivery, etc. (DANB/CDA/RDA credentials)
- Experience in dental receptionist duties

**Position type**
- This role is typically being paid biweekly with a 90-day probationary period as a W-2 employee. Individuals who are interested in being contracted as a 1099 independent contractor are required to provide a W-9 document with an EIN.
- Individuals who are hired are expected to commit to shifts on a rolling two-week basis. This allows everyone to be transparent about shifts, providing maximum flexibility to you to accept or decline future shifts. Once a shift is confirmed, it will be a firm commitment for both you and us for the two-week cycle.
