Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Insurance Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive impression for all visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer applications, and possess strong organizational abilities.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls to appropriate individuals, and take accurate messages
- Provide information to callers and visitors about the company and its services
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with order entry and inventory management as needed
- Proofread and transcribe documents as requested
Experience:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Experience with verifying insurance/PPO coverage (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
