Private practice seeking a Full time Dental Office Manager who is caring, good people skills, strong work ethic and great personality with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional administrative support and assisting with patient care. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, confirmations, and reminders.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of dental instruments.
  • Process patient intake forms and update patient information in the electronic health record system.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Handle billing processes, including insurance verification and payment processing.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and dental materials, placing orders as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such Open Dental is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical and dental records management and acute care practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of practice management principles and fiscal management in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO and HIPPA standards is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
