Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be proficient in a variety of dental procedures. This role involves working closely with patients to diagnose and treat oral health issues, while also educating them on preventative care. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Conduct various dental procedures including, but not limited to, general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assess dental conditions accurately.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for efficient practice management.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Experience in dental fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
