As one of the longest standing private dental practices in Connecticut for over 50 years, we offer pediatric, orthodontic and general dentistry to our community and are located in a big bright new office space with wide open modern deco and a super friendly staff.

We are looking for a dependable person who possess lots of positive energy, strong people & organization skills, adaptable and unflappable to help keep us humming. You will support and assist our providers with our patient care.

A strong work ethic and dependability is recognized.

It is essential to be flexible, friendly and have a "can do" personality while working in a timely fashion. Must display open communication to co-workers and a commitment to patient satisfaction.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Perform all chair side procedures efficiently, assist the dentist, anticipate dentist’s needs and be prepared for next steps.(Familiar with 6 handed chairside dentistry)
  • Efficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communication.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance protocols.
  • Demonstrate proper sterilization, biohazard and infection control procedures in compliance with protocol.(Certification in Infection Control is required)
  • Provide with confidence pre-and post-operative instructions as needed.
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions as needed.
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments, treatment equipment and proper tray setups.
  • Obtain X-ray’s (Pan-Ceph and x-rays) (Dexis software) (Certification in radiology is required)
  • Responsible for stocking treatment areas/carts and dental related facility inventory.
  • Patient/staff rapport -- make positive contribution to office/organization.
  • Perform basic computer functions (Dentrix Practice Management System, Dexis, Dolphin)
  • Assist office in achieving defined goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
