Sweet Tooth Dentistry is a private dental office that is focused on comprehensive care. We take time with each of our patients to educate and provide a comfortable healthcare environment. We have the latest technology, including CBCT, intraoral cameras, digital xrays and software, CEREC, and more. We are a close-knit team and pride ourselves on the quality of our work.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team for about 8 weeks! Our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our patients, using advanced technology, communication, and ethical dentistry. Our ideal candidate is passionate about oral health and takes pride in delivering top-quality care. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with our dental team are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Open Dental
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Florida
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Experience with medical imaging techniques, including intraoral and extraoral radiography
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to use Open Dental software for medical documentation and record keeping
Hours:
-Two days per week, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
