Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various surgical procedures and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and an understanding of anatomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations to evaluate patients' health and suitability for surgery.
- Collaborate with dental specialists, including prosthodontists and pediatric dentists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including patient histories and surgical outcomes.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions and plan surgical interventions.
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations to monitor patients' recovery progress.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care instructions.
Experience
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Completion of a residency program in surgery or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to surgical practices is necessary.
- Experience in pediatrics or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in oral surgery or prosthodontics will be considered an asset.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on advancements in surgical techniques.
