Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Take digital dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as scanning teeth, digital printing, impressions when needed
-Familiarity with cosmetic procedures: ZOOM in-office whitening
- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Open Dental experience
- Experience with portable NOMAD radiographs with digital Dexis sensor, CBCT, CEPH
- Familiarity with adult dental procedures, surgery, composites, orthodontics, 3D scanning
-Familiarity with lab made retainers is a plus
Skills:
- Ability to take radiographs (FMX), digital scanning (Medit) and record patient information
- Strong knowledge of dental terms
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify any issues or concerns
