### Duties
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques
### Skills
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience using dental software systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to take vital signs and assess patients' overall health status
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Skilled in conducting patient assessments and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Proficient in medical documentation, including charting and progress notes
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
